Lauren Talley
Lauren Talley has grown up in the southern gospel music world.
At the age of 25 and the only child of Roger and Debra Talley, Lauren is one of the must successful young artists in southern gospel music today. As well as being a part of the Talley Trio with her parents, Lauren has become an artist who can stand alone with three solo projects to prove it.
Lauren grew up on the road with her parents and uncle (Kirk Talley) who formed the group The Talleys in 1984 making Lauren a year old when she hit the road. At the age of 2 Lauren would sing a song and quote a bible verse for the fans' pleasure at shows. The group split in 1993. That led Debra and Roger to stay home with 10 year old Lauren so she could attend regular school and live a normal life. By the age of 12 Lauren knew that God's calling for her was to sing. Roger, Debra and Lauren formed The Talley Trio in 1996. It is one of the most popular trios in Southern Gospel music today.
Lauren attended the Steve Hurst School of Music for 13 years and now is one of the coaches at the school. Lauren has also been involved in a series called Missy Files which is the female version of the popular Bible Man series. She also guest-starred on the popular television series Touched By An Angel in 2001.
On top of her career, Lauren attends college pursuing a degree in Business Administration. She's on the ten year plan to finish as because of her travels she can only do so many hours per semester. Lauren has won many awards including Female Vocalist Of The Year several times and many awards with The Talley Trio that includes 10 number one singles.
When Lauren is home she attends The First Baptist Church in Morristown, TN with her family.
